moved coil
well i needed to get a bracket to support my throtle return spring and he coil bracket just wasn't cutting it for me, so i got a throttle spring bracket and moved my coil to the front of the block and extended my wires to reach it. When the sun goes down to when i can get some decent pics i'll get some.

re: moved coil
Yea, I like the coil a lot better there as well and moved mine on my 390. I don't know why I didn't do it years ago. I was inspired by someone else here.

my power steering pump is kind of in the way so it has to sit at an angle, but thats fine with me. I like it because it makes the engine look less clutered.

re: moved coil
I don't see why not. It doesn't really matter where it's located as long as it is wired correctly.just a small question, is it a good idea to move the coil??
