inginition cylinder again

Ok I'm dumb, I got it out, now how does it go back in? I lined up insides, done every thing I can think of (accept throw it across the room)

P.S. This is the key cylinder back into ing. swich I'm talking about.

the shiny pin holder goes up and i think you have to start in the acc postion. thats the way it comes out.

Sounds right to me, and I also left the piece of safety wire in the hole above the key until I had it in there...

Yep full counter clockwise and if you removed the key from the lock you have to insert the key and wire and rotate the tumblers to the same full clockwise position. Then stick it in.
