Well I just bought a short bed crew...
I just bought MytMatt's short bed crew he has listed in the "trucks for sale". It is going to be a big project because this is it for me. No more trucks. In fact I'm going to have to finish and sell some projects to be able to get this thing home and to have room to work on it. I'm not going to be able to get to it for at least 6 months so I'm going to put it in storage until then so I won't be updating this post anytime soon. I just wanted to brag that I finally got my CC Shorty!

The plan depend on how everything looks and runs. I'm not going to lift it any and I don't want it lowered either. I like rare trucks to be kinda stock looking on the outside. I will measure the stroke on the motor and see if it is a 360 or 390. If its a 390 I might put it in my 68 cougar and then put a 351W/AOD in the crew. I would like to take it on trips, instead of the wife's explorer, and I would like to do better than 15 MPG on the highway, so it really needs overdrive. The truck already has the power disk brakes so nothing needed there. I have a set of 67-72 F100 buckets w/ brackets that I'm going to put into it. And it will get sholder belts as well and a bed cover. Thats about all I can think of right now.
