71 long beds update

Post by 71 LONG BED »

There are long time spans, as money and time allow, between work completed on my truck. I figured I'd start a "project update" thread for myself and save as fav so I can find it later on.
Here is what I did this weekend.

Thanks tanman722001! It is actually out of an F750. I got lucky and got it for free from a buddy!
I had to make a blank off for the right side because the truck had an air brake system and had an air gauge there. It was my buddies truck and he still needed to move it around the yard, so if I took the gauge the system wouldn't hold air. No air pressure means locked brakes. And I also made a bezel to accept the AutoMeter tach I had laying around because I couldn't use the mechanical tach.

I'll post a comment here so I'm notified when you update. I'd like to get one of those dash panels. I'll add that to my list. First I've got to put my truck back together!

That is nice...really adds a unique flavor to these already awesome trucks!
