Great Job  And its always nice to have friends/neighbors who can assist with the big jobs. I know I wouldn't have even been close to done without the help I recieved from friends/family. Keep up the good work and it will be back on the road in no time. :D
P.S. Watch that time alone with Mrs. Flatbed or it may cause the same conditions that Keith and a few others encountered (the 67 syndrome).
P.S. Factory flatbed? does it have the "FORD" in the back middle? I have a brochure around here somewhere having info on those beds.

Yes. Check my gallery. I know the older ones have "FORD" in script. Probably makes mine less desirable. Thats OK.

Some progress today. The welder came over and burned out the broken bolt. He burned about a 3/16 hole. I drilled it to 5/16 and cut threads with a tap. Now I just need new bolts, and I'll have it together tommorrow if the weather's OK. The right floorpan is in, just needs a little touch up work. Depending on the weather, I might get started on the driver's side tomorrow too.

Holy cow what a pain in the butt. I have gotten all my bolts to move except that same one you broke and the one directly beside it.

Good job!! I know you were kind of bummed when it broke. Glad it is finally fixed without too much trouble. You gotta finish so you can drive it to the junkyard with me!

My friend finished the pass side floor and cab mount Sunday. We realized the driver's side should get a new pan and mount to do it right. I'm gonna put a couple quick patches on it to keep the water out and do that come summer when I have more time. We should have the truck together this week. :D :D
I can't tell you how thankful I am that my neighbor/friend was around to help me and to work on it when I wasn't even around. I think Santa will bring him something for me.
Pictures coming soon.

I did a real hack job on the driver's side just to close it up 'til spring. I haven't done any welding in a few years. I'm gonna need some more practice.
