I have one. its been thru a lot of abuse and still ticking.
picked up the entire front of a 2 ton GMC once when the engine hung up and I didn't realise it.
get the collapsible leg model. saves a lot of room in the shop when its not needed

I figured the only thing that would need replacing is the actual hydraulic jack which they sell for a couple of bucks any way. They have them on promo and they also send me 15% off coupons on anything.

I've got one that's about 15 years old...and works fine!! It's lifted evrything from airplanes to logging rigging and crusher parts, so I'd say you wont go wrong. The only thing I've done is make a better holder for the jack handle when it's not in use, and threw some bigger casters on to roll over stuff easier.

I have the 2 ton collapsible, the directions are horrible. I'd suggest taking pictures of the built floor model in the store, other than the poor directions it works good.
