67' update

Post by zakt »

Well got the frame off the body, finally. Just have to remove the rear leaf hangers to slide it out then put it on the other side of the garage on some other jack stands and get to work cleaning that up.

Cool! That's a pretty ingenuitive way of seperating the body and frame. Looking Good.

The hard part will be putting the body back on the truck without scratching anything (new paint) but will be using por15 on the frame and the whole undercarriage of the truck bed and cab so should be ok?

If you are using POR-15 you won't have to worry about scratching it. That stuff is bullet proof... If you have never used it before be sure and read all of the instructions and follow them.

Ive used it before :hd: but thinking about trying to spray it this time instead of using the paint brush... then I hate you have to put the black coat on as the por15 is UV sensative...

Keep up the good work. These projects all seem to take so much more time than they should. If only we didn't have to work for a living.....
