You can order them from Ford. They will probably make you buy two, and I think they are about 12.00 each.
They are some sort of springsteel and just have two hooks that latch into two holes in the shift tube. Pretty easy to install if a bit awkward with it in the truck.
It will be pretty obvious when you get the new one.

Yep, I'm positive it's that easy. It doesn't bolt in or screw in. There are two holes in the column right in front of the neutral safety switch. The part is Y shaped and the two ends just snap into those two holes. You don't need to remove anything. You may need to adjust the positioning of the switch from side to side once you put it in so that it's held in the correct position. The holes for the hold down screws are elongated to allow for this adjustment. Go here and it's item (D) on page 25.

$22 seems a little steep. I got mine for like $6-7 from the dealer but that was 6-8 years ago.

I have a spare one you could have for $5.00 bet that'll cover shipping too.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
