Liz and I will be in Seattle doing the sights (aquarium and Pike's st Market). The only other one that has said he's off on Saturday is 390nut, but I haven't heard if he wants to join us yet.
You feel like going with us?

The MNG won't happen until 4:30-5:00. if your off early enough, you can boogie on down....

I've got Fri-Tues off! I thought this time I'd make it easier on myself and give myself more driving/site seeing time. I haven't figured out what to do yet. I just know that I need to be close to Puyallup Saturday night to make the swap on Sunday morning. My kid will be with me, anyone know of steam train places up that direction?

I think there is still a model train museum on the hill towards Bonney Lake. Maybe Heep can see when they are open?
Apparently there is a dinner train somewhere, ask tallboy about that one.

BTW:the weather has been great the last couple days! a little rain this morning, but it shaped up nice by mid-afternoon.

There's a dinner train in Renton, it's called The Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. It runs Friday and Saturday nights as well as Sunday brunch, I believe. It's pricy though, we last went about 1 1/2 years ago, I think it cost about $75 apiece.

Not sure if I'll still make it Saturday or not. I might have to work in the morning, and I've got a whole lot of harnesses to finish up and get shipped this weekend, if I can. :D

I'll let ya know by friday evening though, so I can figure out where I am going if I can make it.

ITs a little toy train museum/show area 1/2 way up the hill before you get to BL. O.n the top floor of a tavern, or restaurant thing on the right side. Been a while sincce I've been up there, I can't remember what the place is called now

Is that the place that used to be a winery? Back to F.O.R.D.'s question, does the train out of Elbe run this time of year?

Thanks for the offer, thats my stomping ground right there, I go to school in walking distance of both. I'll see how things go, I'm going to try to rearange my schedule a bit I'm just not sure how much I can (I've been kinda rearanging it a lot lately :P )

As of right now I dont get off until 6 on sun ad travel time and I would be rollin in around 7. :( Although to ad to complications Blue has sprung a leak in either a hose or the water pump and isnt drivable at the moment....I hadnt even thought of not having a ride lol lol But thats what boyfriends are for right? ;)

The Elbe train isn't running yet because of track damage in the Nov. floods. They should be going soon.

Yep, that's the place. The museum is upstairs. The restaurant itself is kinda lame.
