Gear oil

Post by newdeal »

I don't have a book about my truck yet, so I'm going to ask an easy question. How thick of a gear oil goes in a '67 Dana 60?

80W-90 for an open rear and 85W-140 for Trac-Loc or Power-Loc rearend. You will also have to have the friction additive for the locking units.
