With 50' of 3/4" and 40' of 1/2" you would have about 2 gal. of added capacity.

There is .0277 gal. in 1 foot of 3/4" pipe and .0158 gal. in 1 foot of 1/2" pipe. I have a cool little chart that lists all that information if anyone is interested.

Lets see, I figured 36 ft. of 3/4" pipe for 1 gallon so 1gal/36ft = .0277gal. per foot for 3/4" pipe. And 63.3 ft. of 1/2" pipe for 1 gallon so 1gal/63.3ft. = .0158gal. per foot for 1/2" pipe.

Hot damn I'd say that's close enough, thanks verifying that chris!

Be sure to put in your drip leg and filter atleast 50 feet form the tank. That comp should do well for most tools and painting.
