New garage/parts shed
I got tired of working around the weather's schedule, so I bought this 12x26 portable this week, just finished setting it up.
Hopefully it will hold up to the wind, I spiked it to the ground twice at every leg foot, all 10. I also sunk 15 inch augers into concrete and have rachet straps x6 holding it down.
The frame is pretty stout, 2 1/4 steel main skeleton with 1 3/4 steel between.
I am going to hang a couple flourecents, get four bulbs going and it should be enough, and get some 110 plugins set up
I am more worried about the rain turning it into a mudhole, it on a slight downgrade going towards the front, and there was a low spot right where the engine is most of the time. So I poured a couple bags a concrete in this spot and surrounded it with gravel to hopefully keep the water from collecting here.

Couple more pics. You can see in one how much room I have leftover afterwards, not much with the lwb.

nice! not a bad little work area at all! keeps the sun off your back int he summer and you can run a heater fan in the winter! pretty good amount of room as well if you don't have loads of parts laying around.

I used one of those for a few years. I really liked it (my wife was less enthusiastic, however). Anyhow, it lasted about three years before the UV rays began eating it up. You'll enjoy working on your truck a lot more now.

Thanks, it got its break in period yesterday, wind was pretty strong with a storm passing through. The tent held up great, no problem. However now I gotta figure out how to keep squirrels from using it as a shortcut, they have damn razors for claws and will shred it if they climb on it. Any suggestions? And it has to be humane, my girlfriend will kill me if they get hurt.

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!
