No real Favorite Love all of mine the favorite would be the tool in my hand at time it is needed, when it comes to carpentry I am aways amazed at what results a nice router bit can turn a piece of wood into of course a 13" planer is pretty cool to see it spitting out tons of wood curls and making large stock into fine wood stock, (no pun intented).

it's for holding punches and chisles and the like. keeps my little piddies out of harms way when i get to swingin' that hammer. plus it lessens the shock you feel from the hammer blows.spartman wrote:So besides looking like something one would purchase at "one of those stores" what is that tool for?ezernut9mm wrote:my new favorite tool has got to be this:

re: What is your favorite tool?
My reciprocating saw. Haven't had it long but the thing is a true joy to have. I've had several occassions where a stripped bolt or a stuck distributor have frustrated me and the reciprocating saw has solved the problem. I've taken to calling it my "F* It" Saw. Cause when I get pissed by something not coming out that should, that's what I say and I go and grab the saw.

#1 is a Leatherman original PST. I've got a newer one that broke on me. I haven't sent it back yet.. thank God I kept the old one - it hasn't failed me yet.
#2 is a Stihl 029
#3 is a Sawzall (actual Milwaukee)
#4 is a Harbor Freight 32oz ball peen hammer.
I really need an air compressor. Electric tools aren't bad, but I'd love to have a bunch of air tools too.
