Project BiggDogg
Well we did just about all the body work/prep we were willing and able to do ourselves and dropped her off at the painter on Saturday. Decided on a color close to the original red, but didn't two tone, just all red. I'll post some before and after pics when she comes home.
Just a little history:
-1970 F250 Camper Special 390
-original paint was the two-tone red and white.
-previous owner (a close personal friend) was a gardener, had it painted its current dirt brown. You can't imagine all the leaves and grass we cleaned outta that thing. There were even leaves in the headliner! I always told my friend that I wanted that truck the day he sold his gardening business. Well, about 2 years after he'd sold his business, I started hounding him about the truck... he agreed and all I paid for it was the registration fees! Didn't do much for about the first 2 years I had it except for projects/misc things requiring a truck.
About 4 months ago me and my dad started working on it and had so much fun we haven't stopped, and eventually we got to the painting stages which is where it's at now. I'll post some pictures with the new look.

I'm gonna stop by the painter shop today... I'll see if he'll let me snap a couple of "in progress" shots.

Well BiggDogg is back from the painter and wow what a difference! I almost didn't recognize the truck! Of course we still gotta put everything back together, but here are some shots I took after we got home from the paint shop:
