Hey dont know if you solved your title problem or not, but I have good news. Kansas allows vehicles to transfer by bill of sale on antique vehicles! Get a bill of sale for the f250 and the 100 and you will be ok. Doesnt matter who it was titled too just that you have a bill of sale from the person from who you bought it from. REALLY that easy. Im a police officer in KS very close to you and deal with the issue alott. People make it far harder on themselves and often in pursuit of a title rather than a bill of sale get themselves in a bit of a pickle! By the way you still have extra disc brakes???? Maybe you want to sell??

I do have a bill of sale and am going to go the antique way. I didn't want to have to because the inspector said you can't change the engine to anything that wasn't offered that year, and same goes for other stuff. I don't know if thats true or not but as long as I can drive it, thats ok.

About the brakes. As soon as I get the engine swaped I will have 2 sets. 79 and 73...the 79 would be I-beams and spyndles...the 73 would be a complete swap, all in good shape (it is what I an driving now.)

PM me.

Longbed,

Just go to the (WWW) button at the bottom of his post.

Max,

I have been keeping up w/ your progress and have a couple of comments about the use of the T5. You are using a 95 T5 and the 94/95 T5s have a longer input shaft. I just wanted to make sure you knew that. To use Moderndriveline's adapter you will need a 85-93 input shaft. If you don't swap it out, the input shaft will be too long and it will bottom out in the crank. You won't even be able to bolt it up. Find a junker T5 (V8 only) or find someone on ebay that has T5 parts. I see people selling broken T5 all the time. Just get an input shaft from them. Make sure you get one from a V8 because the 4 cyl T5 has a different input shaft tip diameter.

Now, keep us up to date on where the shifter ends up and take lots of pics. One of the options for my crewcab is to use a 302/T5 combo. I'm going to use a cable clutch and parts from a 87-93 mustang. I'm going to use a parts from MustangSteve (mustangsteve.com). He has a part you can weld onto your pedal to pull the cable. He also sells the adjustable cables and an adjustable firewall cable holder (can't remember the name of it). Anyway, I using one of his kits on my 68 cougar so I will be familiar w/ the parts once I finish it. I also like the idea of matching drivetrains in my 68 cougar and 70 crewcab.

Sorry for the book,
Austin

Longbed,

The T5 I have is a 95 with the 93 input shaft, just so hapened that the guy I got it from had a 93 aand a Junk 95 mustang and was swaping over the good 95 parts to the 93.

I have started a write up on this...IT IS NOT COMPLETE! I still need some more dementions and info. The Highlighted parts are the tings I am not sure about, if you have the ansers let me know.

I am going out to install the brake lines now.

Dan,

I was the one w/ the book. Not long bed.

Anyway, I went over your site and it looks like you know just as much as me. So I eagerly await the outcome of your project. I see manual shift 300s in the pick-n-pull all the time, so it should be any big deal to go up there and get some measurements. Let us know what you find.

thanks

Engine and T-5 are in!!!

I had a few freinds over and we got a TON of stuff done!!

What has been done:
  1. 300 I-6 moved from 73 to 67
  2. T-5 Mounted to 300 Bellhousing.
  3. Seat moved from 73 to 67
  4. P/S Pump Mounted
Engine...
Preped and ready
In her new home
Mmmmm. Paint fumes
Working it...
Drivers Side Glory!
Pasenger Side Glory!
Total Glory!

T-5...
Brare Bell
Adapter on bell
You need to drill the Bell out for 2 holes. One of them gets tapped as well.
Drilling one of the holes needed
Tapping one of the holes needed
The Upper right side Bolt goes in from inside the Bell, so you need to take the bell off. They (Modern Drive Line) probably placed the hole in the adapter for a differant bell, so the hole did not quite fall on the landing that was there. So I had to take it to a buddies shop and have him mill the landing down so that the bolt would sit on a flat face.
Milling Needed <1>
Milling Needed <2>
Here is how it looks all bolted up.
Right Side
Left Side
Here is how it fits with the Carb Level.
Fit <1>
Fit <2>
Fit <3>

(I will detail this all out on my website soon...)

What has yet to be done:
  1. Trans Crossmember mounted.
  2. Spring and Shock mounts welded to 9"
  3. Hang Exhaust Pipes
  4. Fill Fluids
  5. Electrical Wireing (Ingnitin & Sensers)
  6. Drive Shaft work. (maybe)
Well I am dead, time to shower and get ready for bed!

More Truck Porn tomarrow!!

Awright a Six! Is it a clifford intake you put on and whats that carb? It looks like your going to have the sweet setup with the six - pwr steering, 4-spd trannie, and what distributor did you use.
Good job. :D
