woohoo!!!!!I just got my new wheels and tires for my truck.
I had to do a few mods to the rear suspension to be able to mount these wheels but it all worked ass I planned it from the beginning. First thing I did was notch the rear crossmember to give the axle some more up and down travel then the rear shock mounts were moved up 2". The front suspension now sports a 90 mustang brake booster and 94 mustang brake master cylinder other than that it all works fine.
Here are some pictures I took last night. This would be ride height.
This one shows the truck lowered with the tires hitting the inner bed rails. It looks like I will need to trim 1/2 to 1" for tire clearance.

ok i will try somthing different. man you need bigger brakes and i would get some good arp studs too. i was working two jobs and one was at the emissons testing. i had a chevy with 22's on the dyno and the studs sheered off. slammed down on the dyno broke the rim and brakes. had to get a wrecker to get it out of there. 13 " mustang rotors will fit.
you just need to space the caliper out more.
Marz, what a nice suprise! Haven't seen you around lately, but MAN! that thing is gorgeous with the extra couple inches.

Oh, also, if you wouldn't mind, any chance you could send me the list of parts I could find at the yard to work with the MII stuff. I know you sent it a while back, but I have erased it I guess. I think I will be collecting those parts hopefully soon, and using the stock frame for a while.
Hey customcrewcab..I would like to upgrade to larger rotors but what I don't like is that the rotors might push my wheels out more and that will kill my steering radius.

have you seen the red 73+ model on 24's? Bad Habit customs did a full front suspension, tube arms and all, to shove the wheels up in there real nice. Looks like it could roll straight forward layed out, of course have to lift to turn.
how does your turning look when layed out? anything like the 20's?

yeah i have seen that dent side I don't know how that guy can steer his truck but hey it looks cool.
That would be cool if you could make it to some shows here in cali driving your truck with 22's and BD.
I will let you know later about my steering cause my brother has a car blocking my exit so as soon as he is done repairing it I will roll my truck out for a test drive. I have a feeling that I may have to notch my fire wall for extra tire clearance.

well if you did what i did using the the old rotors as hubs you machine the front down. when you turn the rotor off to make the hub it is really thick. i would have to check but i bet you could remove 1/4" easy. thats all it would move out. so a 1/4" each side and a 1/2" total.

well its .265 instead of .250 so not off by much. i keeped the middles i got the slotted and drilled rotors off ebay for about 50 a side. you could use mustang cobra calipers and eveything should clear with those rims.

in a couple pics if you look close enough the tires are pushing up on the bedsides on the red one. atleast it looks like that to me. That has to be a 32 inch tire or taller. I dont think the bump besides are but maybe 31.5 top rail to lower point of bed side. Maybe the dents are taller though.
