layedout72 wrote:in a couple pics if you look close enough the tires are pushing up on the bedsides on the red one. atleast it looks like that to me. That has to be a 32 inch tire or taller. I dont think the bump besides are but maybe 31.5 top rail to lower point of bed side. Maybe the dents are taller though.
I just drove my truck yesterday after work to test the steering and I don't have that much steering as I did with the 20's but I was able to make a u turn in a 4 way intersection without having to put it in revers so I think that's very good for what it is.
I installed my bed last night and it looks like I will only need to trim 1/2"
off of the bed rail but I may build the wheel tubs a 1/4" below the top just for that extra travel if I need it.

I took these pics this morning on my way to work so I didn't have time to air it up. I will post some later of it at ride height.

I had said that the next pictures that I post would be of my truck being chopped but there was a local car show that I wanted to attend before I start cutting the roof so here are some pics of my truck going to the show. Today I will start removing all the glass and finish marking all the lines for the cuts. Tuesday I will start bracing the cab and start cutting out the back glass. Can't wait to get out of work and get started on the chop.

I'm gonna start refering to it as " El diablo" and I mean it in the nicest way. The more I see it the more I like it. Can't way to see it with some out of the top.

Man, I love your truck, I've said it before and I'll say it again, you're lucky you don't live close to me, I'd have to "impound" that truck and keep it for myself. LOL!
