On start up, Goldie generally goes into gear fine right out of the gate, but the first stop after start-up (end of the driveway for the gate or similar) it takes a couple of seconds after shifting to drop into gear. Only does this stone cold.
I have not serviced the tranny since I bought it, so I don't know what's in there--fluid level seems good, though, and the fluid doesn't stink.
I have a 360/C4, I think. (Who knew not being able to remember a darn thing would be a benefit of growing older?)

I don't think you would have a c4 behind a FE. C6 or FMX?

It's been my experience that a C6 will act up in cold weather. Others have verified this as being a "trait". Believe me, with temperatures plunging to -50*F during the winter, I know all about cold weather issues.

Not to hijack, but here in northern MN, we get some of the most extreme cold in the nation. At least in the lower 48. I've personally seen -65*F. Not a fun time. Sometimes not even a block heater will keep the engine from freezing. While the block will remain thawed, the radiator will freeze solid.
