I think he is talking about the Magnum 500 wheels like this, but I don't think anyone makes them in the 5.5 bolt pattern, would have to use adaptors...

Thunderfoot got it. They just look right on a ford. I think torque thrusts or what ever they are called look good on chebies and 500s look good on fords. If you can't find them in a 5.5 pattern, I know for a fact that you can get adapters for about $100. Or I bet vintage wheel or one of those guys can get them in the correct pattern. They look 60s tough instead of 50s cool. I don't think a bump looks right trying to be 50s cool. Just wasn't our bumps time. I like a bump to be muscle car tough, because that is when they were built. 67-72 was the muscle car era. Hell, put some GTA emblems on it. That would be cool w/ some 500s.

Hey ED!,
for the linkage although a litlle more likely to vibrate and twist/move with the egine the 73-79 single rod looks like it would work ok for linkage. and some are even adjustable if they all aren't.
oh and the snap over the little ball on the carb throttle lever. Just not sure where you'd put the spring though.
