AHHHH!!!

I just whent by the truck on the way to take the girls swimming and there was a puddle under the right rear and front left tires!! :x :x :x

I looked the the double flares on those lines must be bad!!! SOAB!!! :cuss:

(If you couldn't tell my the over use of the "!"'s I am MAD about this.)

The brake shop that did the flares said they couldn't garentie that they wouldn't leek because they where my parts and I was installing them. :argue:

I guess I will be taking those off and doing something with them tomarrow instead of finishing things up.

Sorry guys, just had to rant!

Well I thought I would just tighten them to see if that fixed it...AND IT DID!

Drove it around the block a few times, found more stuff that needs to be done.

Tonight was our 4th because we got rained out on the 4th.

Time for bed.

I got the I6 Springs put on and they did make a differance in the Camber. I still think it has to much, but after a few miles when everything is in place I will take it to get an Alignment done. There is a place that can bend the beams if needed.

Just have a few more things that need to be done, and she will be ready for tags!

I just want you to confirm that your speedometer is reading correctly so we can get some good MPG reports. I really want to know what that 300/T5 combo puts out w/ that 3.70 gear.

I just cut a small grove through half the latch, then used a BIG lock-jaw pliers.

I love the Floor shift! The T-5 is nice, I like not having to reach forward to shift, very comffy.

:D :D I have TAGS!!!!! :D :D

It all went smooth today!
Just to show you how dumb the inspection is...
1) He didn't say anything about the 600 Hollel and Longtube headers
2) It is an F-250 with only 5 lugs
3) The shifter is a little far back in the cab to be stock.

I should be getting a title in a few weeks.

She drives realy good and shifts great. No vibrations at 70mph so I must have done the angles right

Wow that is really cool. Thanks for the nice write up on the install. You'll have to keep us posted after you put some miles on it. Do you know how that trans will hold up to towing and hauling loads?

There is a guy at work that has a '93 mustang with a class II hitch that hauls a lot of crap around. He has 280,000 miles on that car and the trans is a stock unit. SO I think it will hold up fine.

I will let you guys know the milage and everything as I go.
