need 4speed tranny for 1968 f250 or a swap

what fits a 1968 f250?? i found a ford 19D out of an 80s diesal truck but i dont know if it fits.. my truck has been sitting here with current tags and i cant drive it, i need to fix asap.. please help.

T18/19 or NP435 should be a direct bolt in...

It will fit. Likely different ratios though.

what does the d stand for in T-19D??? just curious
