Transmission ?

Post by GreaseMonkey »

Im thinking of doing a manual trans swap in my truck. 68 F250 4x2 FE motor. I already have NOS Flywheel, Bell housing, insp cover, pedal and linkage assembly, and the fork. Ive heard that a Tremec TKO 500 will swap right in. Apparently, the TKO 500 bolts right up to the stock FE bell. Does anyone know if this is true, what about the linkages and fork? If so is there a certain model/series of Tremec TKO 500 that is supposed to work? Would this also stand for the TKO 600 Too?
