tranny shift?
so as i finished up the packing on my speedo cable and removed my frame gas tank today i noticed that both bolts going from my tranny to tranny mountwere just barely in the holes. so i reinstalled them and cleaned up around the truck. now ive had this truck now for about 4-5 weeks and sfifted just fine. now with the tranny tightened down it shifts hard now. even at a stop light when i let off the gas to go it shifts hard. WHAT IS THE DEAL?

re: tranny shift?
why would it bind? is there supposed to be a spacer between the mount and the tranny? its weird that when it got tight that it started to shift hard.

re: tranny shift?
ok, so i loosened the bolts and went for a ride. from a complete stop and letting the brake off the truck engaged fine but felt a little hesatation during shifting. came back and tightened them back down. went again. now from a stopped position and letting off the brake engaged hard but excelerated fine. could it be when i tighten the boltd down that the tranny is getting pulled down to far?

re: tranny shift?
so i had my wife go and sit in the truck. i laid on the ground and had her to run a cycle through the shifter. i laid on the ground and watched the tranny and rear. every time she went into drive i saw the hard shifting was coming from the rear end not from the tranny. now what?

man. tran or automatic? i think someone rebuilt it wrong or it needs a rebuild. being loose just lowers the effect becuase it has room to flex.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

they look fine. they have your usual wear but nothing major. while the truck was in nuetral i checked the drive shaft by the rear. i could move it back and forth. not alot, but im not sure how much movement is allowed either.
