Cruisomatic Fluid Question

What type of trans fluid do I use in a Cruisomatic? Can't find anything in the owners manual, even though for future information, capacity is 22 qts (must include torque convertor).

Do we use Mercon or what? Any help greatly appreciated.

Id use type F (for Ford!).
