351w installed in my 68
Here is a pic of my 351w installled in my 68. The motor is a 1995 bronco roller cam motor. When I bought the motor it had 144,000 mi on it and was used by Ameren IP for a employee transporter, so I thought I would freshen it up since I was putting aluminum heads on it. It is the only bronco I have ever seen that ran on propane(it was wrecked and was there at the junkyard when they pulled the motor for me). When I tore it apart it still had the factory cross hatch in the bores. I took it to the machine shop to have them polish the crank and to hot tank the block, hone it and install new cam berings. I ran into a problem with clearance with the valve and pistons. So I had to order special pistons from Keith Black to clear the 2.02 , 1.60 valves. The heads are patriot. The cam(xe166HR-12) and valvetrain is all comp cams. Comp cams 1.6 roller rockers. D.U.I hei distributor and a 1262 gasket matched performer RPM intake and carb

Tybo... you've got to get a bigger picture to do that 351 justice! Looks like a 221 or a 260 that way!

I suck with computers. Thats all I can say about that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong when downloading pics. I will work on my computer skills and post a better pic very soon.

I am running an AOD from a 88 Mustang GT. It has a Fairbanks stage 2 shift kit and the transmission has had all the updates put in it during the rebuild. It also has TCI saturday night special converter. The transmission shop told me it would handle what ever I could throw at it as long as I didn't do lots of drag racing with it. The AOD as everyone knows don't hold up well to super hard launches with big sticky tires. That is fine for me though I built the truck as a driver not a dragster.
