I know I posted this subject before but I couldn't find it so here it is again but with updates. The bed is going receive smooth sheet metal and since the stock floor was to wavy I decided to take it out and build a frame to set the new sheet metal on. I will also be building some compartments on the bed floor for tools or to use them as an ice chest for those hot days at the car shows.

Hey 325hotford the back glass opening is the same size as the glass of a 76 f250 like my dads crew you see in one of the pictures so if I can get that glass to fit then that would be cool.
mmm smooth bed floor. love that! are you going to do the same treatment on the side walls of the bed? Are you going to smooth the back end with a cali combo or something?
yes the inside walls are going to be smooth also and for the back me and carry were talking about having grant custom build me a combo skin which will have the bump wraping around the rear of the truck and them mabe put some LED's on the bump for brake lights.
why not do like josh freemans yota? get some LED's and flush mount some plexi glass in the bump, so it keeps the shape of the body line, add your LED's, and theres not "bucket" for the lights. Have you seen his yota? It's gorgeous.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Thanks rjewkes.
I have always wondered what is going on with the truck in the 3rd picture in your avatars? The gray truck looks like it was shot out of a cannon.
Hey layedout were can I find a picture of that yota.
Marz thats a pic from the webpage of the guys that shot a newer F-series out of a plane for a comercial and they decided to use a bump as the test bed.

How many pounds of bondo can you put in a tailgate?
that truck is faaaaaaaaar from covered in bondo. a skim coat maybe, I wouldn't say anymore that that. Everything you see is custom work and paint. I am hoping you think the streaks and stuff airbrushed is wavy bondo. If not, I don't know what to tell you.
