I forgot you had title problems. That's great news!
I had to buy a whole parts truck to get mine for the F350.

The Cobra "R" spec T-5 is rated at 310ft-lbs of torque so maybe a stock 352, but I don't think I would do it on a 360 or a 390 or even a modified 352. I would look into other 5-speeds like the mazda that came behind the 300s in the 80s & 90s.

Here is an update on the truck...
IT ROCKS!!
The Good things:
I have 5 gears (Sooo much fun to drive)
Power brakes (had to use them the other day. They work, trust me)
Nice tight Power Steering (I don't fear the parking lots any more)
18-19mpg if I drive nice. (Cold runs and a leeking Carb)
4-8mpg if I drive like I stole it. (more likely)
Things to do next: (little to no $)
Get the Door seals in. (Don't have the lower half right now)
Fix the door panel buzzzz from my speekers)
Get the right steering wheel so I can use my horn
Things to do when I get some $:
Replace the leeky worn out Holley 600 with an Edelbrock 500
Insulation, sound deadening, and carpet
Get the seat recoverd or find another one.

MadMaxetcs,
That sounds great! Way to go and thanks for the update.
WPA,
If you already have a three speed behind the modded 352, then I would get a tremec 500 or 600. You can buy one that will bolt right up to your bell that you already have. And they are tough as nails.
