if i switch from a 370 gear to a 325 will it get me better milage

A little, but not a lot....though it will definitely make it wind out less on the highway, which in turn will increase your engine life. However, if you've got a pumpkin with those gears in it, I'd definitely swap it in. I think you'll really like how the truck drives.

i have a 390 auto and 3.25. i can go 30 miles on a quater tank of gas.

considering the price of gas that is bad. i can make the same trip in my 94 and only use about half of that.

I'm going from 3.50 gears to 3.00 gears this weekend with my 390 with a T19 4 speed manual. I'll let you know how it goes.
