The times I have been there the swap meet / parts and show / car display areas are seperate. I have gotten vendor spaces there before. The cost is about $35.00 if I remember correctly for two side-by-side spaces but that might have gone up a little. The line forms real early for vendor spaces and there is no real Ford or Chevy or Dodge area in the swap meet section. I believe you can have for sale signs in the show area vehicles. Basketcase0302 will find out more, I'm sure.
Too many projects, too little time, but.. lovin' it!
2-1966 Mustangs (one 289-2V and one 200 6 Cylinder),
1-1990 7-Up 5.0 Mustang LX Convertible (second one),
1-1990 7-Up 5.0 Mustang LX Convertible (third one, for parts only)
1-1990 7-Up 5.0 Mustang LX Convertible (fourth one, best of the bunch).
1-1992 "FEATURE" 5.0 Mustang LX Convertible (only one)
1-1993 "FEATURE" 5.0 Mustang LX Convertible (one of the yellow ones)

When I was selling a bunch of my excess 1987-1993 Mustang parts in the swap meet area I had people walk up and look my '68 F100 driver over when the truck was still in multi-colored primer (the way I bought it) thinking it was there to be sold. I disappointed a few people.

Teacherman,
That's cool! Hope to see ya' there.

From the folks that coordinate the show...(easier to cut & past than to disect it)!
The earlier you get there, the better it is as you get to visit with more of the vendors, we open the gates at 6am and you can park there anytime after that. The girls are there about 9am but by 9:30am the area is pretty full. You would probably be safe if you get there by 8am. We don't do registrations, you just fill out the ticket you receive at the gate. That gets you in the drawing for the $100 at the end of the car show, about l:30pm. As to one of your guys selling his parts, he will have to go in the vendor area. We don't allow any selling of cars or parts in the car show area. He can preregister and pay for a spot before the show if he likes or wait till he gets there.
our website has a flyer on it for the monthly shows and the winter show go www.floridaswapmeets.com. I can also mail you some flyers if you like.
Craig and Joann
BigJake,
Sounds like you'd have to rent the vendors spot, (and then maybe pull the bump over where the other Fordification trucks would be at). You also might want to PM member ZephyrMerc about the trucks you might have for sale.
I hope this helps.

Sounds like they do want us there as early as possible to get all the trucks parked. I'll be there by 7 as I'll be right down the road Saturday night. If anybody wants it please PM me for my cell number, (this might make it easier when you arrive). I do know the show entrance is on the North end, (there is a South and a North driveway to the grounds on S.R. 471).

Hey ya'll, we're real close! If everyone who has PM'd me/and answered this thread can make it... there would be nine of us so far!

I'll try and make it, I used to go to Webster frequently when I lived in Leesburg. Now that I'm in Punta Gorda it's a ways off, but my old Zephyr should make the 3 hour or so drive OK. Looking for a decent bump, or a model T. I guess I can show the Zephyr too for that matter. I'll have to talk to the wife about getting a room in Clermont or so on Saturday night to make sunday's drive shorter. Lots of fuel (V12) and running after dark aren't my favorite things. (6V taillights about 2" diameter)

Count Me In!!

I should have some of the small kinks worked out and I think the bump will make it 65 miles each way.

I missed the Webster show for November because I helped a friend take 2 cars to the Mopars with Big Daddy show at the Don Garlits Museum, just south of Ocala.

The Webster show is well worth the trip if you are looking to buy or sell parts. There is usually a good turnout every month.

Unless there's some crisis waiting on me when I get back from the KY. tradeshow I should be there with 'Georgia'. I'll even bring a couple boxes of donuts!

:fr:

P.S..It's fairly likely that the ranger will be un-officially for sale, but I'm holding off as long as I can.

Rangerman update...well, I'll still be there but unfortunately it won't be until the afternoon on Sunday..maybe 1pm or so, and I'll only be able to spend a couple of hours there - need to be back in Ocala by 5pm.

I didn't pay attention...are you guys meeting Saturday? I could probably make it easier on that day. Either way I'll be there - hope we get a good showing!

See ya soon!

69Rangerman,

The plan was for all of us to meet on Sunday the day of the show.
If all can attend that have posted here and pm'd me, (with two maybe's) we will have ten of us.
This will be enough for the trophy/plaque to send to Keith on behalf of Florida Fordification members.

I'll be there on Saturday to make sure any/all bugs are worked out in regards to keeping the trucks parked together.
I'll also be there early on Sunday morning, (the day of the meet-n-greet, the swap meet, and the car show).

Would be so cool to have ten of our bumps lined up for a picture!

Just tell them you're with the Fordification group of trucks.
