wanting to buy some tools...
I want a chop saw, air grinder, and cut off wheel for starters. I'd love a bandsaw but don't NEED it.
What is a good company for chop saws? It WILL cut 1/4 inch material so it needs to be pretty good. Is the harbor frieght a good starting point, to modify to work better? Should I spend a bit more and just have a nice one to begin with.
What cut of wheels and air grinders are good?

I was looking at the dewalt 5.5 horse chop saw. It's only 200 online and I can make 4 links, frame rails, and anything else I may need metal cut with it.

Northern had a great deal on cut-off wheels.
$5 bucks for an electric model.
Works great for the little I plan to use it.

We have a little milwakee chop saw and it works great on thinner materials but it puts it to work on thicker stuff.
