Make your way to Leesburg and take SR44 west to US301.

Follow 301 south to the junction of Rt 470--just south of this intersection is a Convenience Store/Gas Station on the left--the road running off to the left behind the gas station is Rt 471--follow south to show--Fairground on Right.

You may know a better way around Leesburg. Rt 470 comes east from the turnpike, crosses US 27 and comes through Yalaha, but I don't know where it goes from there.

Hope this helps.

That green '72 bench seat sounds nice but I just worked a deal on another parts truck (a 1969 302, Auto, PS, PB, A/C, Radio Delete?? F100 Ranger). It's got a fairly nice tan bench seat with a few tears in the original fabric. My truck is two-tone Lunar Green/Whimbleton White F100. The tan seat probably won't go good without a cover over it. Do you have a picture of the seat you can send me?

Oh yes, I am still planning to be there Sunday, lo-o-ong before the sun comes up. If I get there too early I might have to move my truck to where everyone gathers together.

I just went shopping last weekend so I can bring some chips and pretzels. Now I have to remember to do it!!

Steemer54,
Sounds like uboughtwhat gave some good directions, here's the address for the Sumter County Fairgrounds if you still want it.
7684 S.R. 471 Bushnell, Florida 33513

l1k2gadd,
If I get there too early
Sure hope there's some coffee around there somewhere...I should be there by 6:30AM
Please bring the chips!

Everybody might also want to think about bringing a "fold-up" lawn type chair.

Still trying to get "mickey mouse" out of my bump, (won't be a good thing to find him at 55 MPH).
He aint' going for the peanut butter on the trap. :o

I got manymany rats years ago with small pieces of cooked bacon bread-bag-tied to the rat trap triggers. I used that back in the late 80s in Lithia Florida when I got a bunch of them that decided to put up the No Vacancy sign in a project 1968 Ford T-5 I owned back then.

Oh, I forgot to mention, those bread bag ties were stripped of the colored plastic that was on them. There are real nice small wires in there that worked well for the job at hand.

dduude,
Is that tilt steering?

Hey guys, we still need somebody to bring some paper plates.

As Santa Claus is coming real soon, I just wanted to let everybody know this place is down the road about 20 miles from the show grounds.

We got a tree there last year, (a live tree then planted it after Christmas).
We'll defineatly be going back.

dduude,
The hot dogs are a go! I'll bring the grill and a few more dogs just in case we need them. Reply from the folks at the show was "just be careful with the grill because it's our dry time of the year".

If there's anybody that's said "maybe I'll make it" please... let me know by pm this Friday night for sure.
As it stands, Saturday when I meet with the show folks I'll be asking for 12 spots for all our trucks, (the two maybe's would make it 14 of us)!

I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! For those that haven't been there, the Webster/Bushnell swap meet and car show is a pretty big event. The grounds are probably 30-40 acres in size, and twice I've seen overflow parking along the highway if you show up later in the day.

Thanks in advance to all who show up!

As I'm showing up around 1pm on Sunday, do you think I'll be allowed or able to drive to our spot? I'll be there either way but would hate not parking with everybody else.

Thanks,

Tom

Tom,

PM sent.

I'll be meeting with them tomorrow and telling them this.
I don't think it will be a problem, (if it is not ok with them, then we can all go across the street for our truck pictures).
