It took me nearly an hour just to drop the driveline.
The u-bolts were covered with crude that was like concrete.
I had to use a screwdriver and a punch to get the crude off before I could loosen the nuts... then the U-bolts would not budge...
I had to punch them out.
After I got it out... I fought with the getting the yoke off for a couple of hours...
Then broke both of the clips that hold in the yoke u-joint, and busted off the grease fitting...
Now the problems with getting the carrier bearing off...
I have replaced them before, and it just took smacking it a few times with a block of wood and a BFH to bust the carrier bearing loose, then it just slid right off...
