hugh slow downs

i have been getting hugh slow downs when i post. it is only on this site. i have cleared my cookies and temp internet files. what is going on? it is only on this site that this happens. i will click submit and the thing just sits there and it takes forever for my messages to post to the site.it is now 7:57 by my clock i will repost what time it takes for this to post.

that was better. it took less than a minute. that time.

I'm having the same problem here as well. Sometimes I submit a post and get 'this page cannot be displayed. I've cleared cookies and temp internet files and this issue remains.

well i have found some of my problems. i had some spyware on my computer. i did a scan at www.trendmicro.com and it cleared them all out. if anyone wants to try it its free.

You're talking about Housecall...Yeah I did that last weekend, and I'm clean. Not having slow down issues here much anymore though. Occasionally, I get, 'this page cannot be displayed' after trying to post. It mostly happens with internet explorer. Firefox seems to do better for some reason.

yeah i am having that problem also but i also have several web pages open at the same time as well as my mail. i figure i am jamming my own connection when this happens.

If there's data transfer on the other pages you have open and you're on a dial up connection, it could cause problems, but if the pages are static, (no new information being sent) then you shouldn't have a problem.

yeah it only happens really when i had data tranfering going on. i knew it was a slight slow down.
