I dig the front end tilt, but don't lie cutting the fenders. Maybe a split up by the cowl ??

re: mljjones67 project update
Here is a update. The rust was pretty bad in the door frame. I guess the dirt and water coming in from the cowl has sat there and rusted it out. I think it is fixable however. I cut out all the thinnest metal and will be patching it up as flush as I can get it. I need to find something that will completely stop the rust before I use the rust bullet on it. I was thinking of spraying some hydrofluoric acid in there and letting it sit for 10 15 minutes and then rinsing it out real good. Then covering it with the rust bullet. What do you all think???? Other than that and the floors everything else is solid.
Drivers floor. I cut most of the bad out. I think I will just patch up whats missing. I have a complete floor patch for it so if it gets worse than I am seeing right now I will use it.
Here is my drivers side rear spring stop( I guess thats what it is) This truck must of towed or hauled alot because it is worn through.

re: mljjones67 project update
Update.. Got the inner fenders off and the core support unbolted. I need a good pry bar to get the core support off. Its kinda stuck on right now. And I removed the drivers door. All this stuff will be headed to the scrapper. To much rust. If anyone needs the guts to the doors let me know. oh they are not 67 style doors!! Few dollars plus shipping??

Got the core support off finally. It took a 2x4 and me jumping on it but it came off. I am going to need new core mounts now.
And if anyone is interested I make custom carb covers. They are very expensive. Let me know
