Exciting event last night....No not that

Post by GT-Racer »

Keith can relate to this... Last night I got to feel the baby kick for the first time. Talk about awesome!!!! This will be our second child. And with the first, I spent months running through the house when the wife would yell, "The baby is moving" only to miss it. This baby is moving a lot more, and a lot earlier than the first one did. So for me this was an AWESOME event.
Just had to share that.... :D

Isn't it wonderful when you feel your child move for the first time?
I remember that experience with both of mine!
Congrats! Savor the moment, Daddy!

That is so cool! Congrats to both of you.
I also felt my first born move today.....
I said "Get up! It's almost noon!" Then I pulled the cover off and poked her and she jumped and yelled, "Daddy! It's summer! I don't have class for two more months."
Ahhh.....ain't the miracle of life wonderful?

I don't know if I'm spending too much time thinking about trucks or what...but during the ultrasound, at one point we got a side shot of the baby, and I'd have SWORN there was what appeared to be a perfect likeness of a Ford V8 air filter housing immediately above the baby, and one of the baby's hands was stretched up towards it! It was very detailed, with all the ridges, snorkel and everything. I even had the technician stop and hold it there, so I could point it out to Mary....who just rolled her eyes, and the technician I think was wondering if I needed to be taken to the detox unit!

hey Keith,
why so late doing the ultrasound? Liz and I had hers at 17 weeks.(just over 4 months)
we did find out is is a girl, but I am still hoping for a boy!
so far this Kid has cost me over $100,000, cause for some reason my loving wife doesn't think we can continue living in the 31' 5th wheel.
been a good home for 2 years but all of a sudden its just not big enough! I think it has something to do with the fact that her belly rubs both sides of the shower! :P

here is a pic of our little one also, just for the heck of it!

Well, with Mary being an RN and having already been down this road twice in three years, she already knew what to expect. When she found out she was pregnant, she just picked up some prenatal vitamins and went on with her daily business. Plus she'd done some calculations and figured the due date on her own, but it turns out she got pregnant a little earlier than she'd thought, so she's a little farther along than she'd thought.

I just hope in a year or so,all the topics around here don't turn into discussions about cloth diapers, runny noses,breast-feeding or baby puke on your shoulder :D
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

Ok ok ok, lol. Congrats you two. . I have 4 teen agers and would not trade them for anything, just wish some one would have given me the right advice. Here is what I have learned to help you both out. My wife and I have decided that if you train them as an infant to only have 1 meal a day you can save on 2/3 of your groceries. That adds up to a bunch ( one or two more project trucks).

Congrats to ya, I love seeing new fathers. Nothing better in the whole world.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

We knew the first was going to be a girl, but the second wouldn't hold still long enough for the ultrasound tech to get a good look.
Turned out to be a boy.
He loves helping Daddy with his truck.
That's my boy!
