well it sure was a cold one today. i had a long day out there. we all sold stuff at the meet. i got enough money to pay for my entrance fee and the gas money for the trip up there. i have a few misc pics of stuff. there was a factory a'c setup out there and some other small interesting things. i post them up sometime after i get them up loaded. i dont think any of us got any pics of the members who showed up. those who attended though was myself madmaxx ezernut9mm wt4speed#2 nikon4u and salmons showed up for a while. i am still considering showing up tomorrow with different items to sell.
COOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Other than that and the bitter wind, blowing snow, and occasional sleet, it was a nice time. And I finally got the feeling back in my toes. A definate memory was had by all.
here are the pics i took today. this first pic is of a factory a/c almost complete. for 60.00 it was missing the idler pulleys and the condensor.
these next two pics arent very good but are pics of a NOS 1979 ford CB radio. if you notice in the second picture the handset has all the controls on it. the main box just mounted under the dash i suppose. because it was just a box and there was no reason for it to be exposed for the user.
in this last pic is a radio bezel dated with a D1 number on the back. but it was all painted black. instead of the argent and black like i have seen most painted. i don't know if this had been repainted or not.
i also found a door with a wierd serial number on it. i am guessing the vin plate had a typo on it because it ddint start with F. the vin number was 10HKC79251. the vin plate also had a DSO number of 531317. i thought it unusual that it was such a large number. the doors were never purple. theywere lunar green. the vin plate says it was a 1968 f100 with a 390 engine and had automatic with 4:11 gears.
hey guys, it was a good time for being as cold as it was. i was out there again today and it was even colder-if you can believe that.
tony is on his way back to tejas and i'm done unloading all the crap that didn't sell.
i'm going to start a thread in the photo section for the rides that i took pics of.
edit: madmaxetc's 300/5sp truck and goldielocks meet at last.

Well in answer to the questiom that is the title to this thread "How's the weather in KC in April". A lot like December in Texas , wrong december in texas ain't that bad . Although way better than AA's service which in it's self was a nightmare. Chris thanks for a great weekend, sorry I didn't get anything posted before now. Trying to get em transfered to photobucket and will get them posted later. I did get a few of some of the members. Geez back to work. Staytuned

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Yea! the next two days are going to be awesome swap meet weather!!! Maybe we should try it again!
I wish I had read this post before I went out there I would have stopped by and met more guys from the forum on sat. I had a space with a couple of friends so I didn't get out much on Saturday but on Sunday I met ezernut9mm and wt4speed#2 and shared a few good Ford truck stories plus I made my mopar lovin' friend listen to them all. I didn't get any pics of the swap meet but here's one coming home. it looks like I brought a lot back home but it's a little less than half of what I took.
Was you out there last year? I swear i remember the truck.
