Thinking about getting an event together...

Post by old_mare »

I've got a friend who just recently came upon a bump of his own (I told him about the site...) and he is really jazzed about it. I was site snooping the other day and thought that it would be cool to have a little event. See, I work at the Missoula Int'l Airport at an FBO with a hangar that just recently had Hilary's rally in it. I would much rather see that hangar filled with bumps and their owners than politicians. Just kind of a meet-and-greet, you know?

I've got the venue, who's got ideas? Tell me what you think.

edit: The tower closes at 10 and the runways are long, flat, straight, and uncontrolled ;) j/k

Well we should all put our heads together and come up with a few dates. Then I can run them by "the powers that be" and see if we can empty the hangar for a few days.

There are all sorts of local clubs and vendors that might be interested as well. Hm...we might be onto something here. Model A clubs, Mustang clubs, the local Ford dealership.... (I always thought it would be cool to fill the lot at the Ford dealership with several models of cars and trucks from each decade...)
