Nothing is bolted down at this point, so the core support and inner fenders can easily be moved with a firm shove. there is room for adjustment. had the same problem with a factory fender once. had to move everything until it fit better looks to only be 1/4-1/2" off.
my whiole front end was scewed to the driverside. the po had removed all the front sheet to rebuild the engine in the chasis then put it all back sloppily.

Worked on the front cross member/spring hangers this week... had to take the fenders back off to get in there and measure. You know measure once cut twice

Everything looks great but I'm just wondering when the springs are compressed won't the rear shackles keep rotating upward and just ride up against the frame instead of letting the whole mess flex rearward? looks like their just past the point where it'll rotate the wrong direction? Looks sweet though!!

Good eye... and that was one of my concerns, but acording to the spring manufacturer, the spring will grow 2" when loaded. Since I had to take his word (what else was I to do), I set it up so that the centerline pivot of the shackle will be vertical when loaded. We'll see if this works out as planned. Just to make you feel better and to ansser others questions about the springs and shackles.
The Cyan Arc is the free spring and the Pink Arc is the arc that it can move through. If you put a force on the spring it will look like the Purple Arc and now move along the Red Arc. However, the shackle can only move along the Green Arc, so in order for the spring to expand the shackle has to rotate back.
Oh, and you are kicking ass on that thing. I REALY like the front hanger, looks 100% better than almost any one I have ever seen!
