Yeah, there was a preview of that on last week. I watched it, and I have to admit it looks interesting....but it's still obviously a somewhat-staged deal. Of course, that could have just been the preview, for viewers to get the taste of the show. Regardless, it does look interesting, so I'll check out a few episodes.
Wait a minute....I don't get the Speed Channel. I think I watched that show on Spike TV (what used to be TNN). I wonder if that was just a teaser to get people to come over to the Speed Channel.

re: Pinks
i saw it and i thought it sucked. they had two cars race 3 times even thought one car won every race the other guy won because he had to beat him by 7 car lenghts. i would rather see heads up raceing not spoting the guy with the slower car a bunch of distance. the speed channel other show texas hard tails also sucks. it other show about bike builder but is very scriped and they have some very bad acting. they are trying to be like american chopper but are lacking anything interesting so they make stuff up. other then some really hot girls showing up for 2 seconds its a total waste of time. as for pinks they need to have two cars that about they same et and let the driving decide who the winner is.

I agree. pinks sucked. The first episode pitted a stock 2000 something firebird against a stripped out 2000 something camaro with a full cage and all out race motor with a 250 shot nitrous kit. The arguing over how much the firebird got spotted each time stunk too.

re: Pinks
i don't understand how they screwd up the show so bad. who is that dumb to go race and lose there car with there dumb rules. the one guy wanted a 15 car spot. i though nothing was as bad as build or bust but i was wrong.

Yes, I agree it sucked. Biggest disappointment. It's pretty hard to screw up a good idea like that, but they sure did. Very amateurish. I'm not going to watch again. I've seen threads like this on about 4-5 different boards I frequent, and so far no one said it was worth watching a second time.
