Been working on it just nothing really good to post new pics of.
All the engine parts are cleaned, just need to finish lapping the valves and put it back together.. I will post pics soon.

you could armor-all those tires while your at it too :D
i think it would make another big difference :thup:

WoW in the "After" picture, you can see reflections and shadows... can't see either in the "before" picture... That is super cool!

I'd really like to put a set of factory wheels and caps back on..
The next choice would be Aluminum 5 Spoke that LMC has in there catalog..
So if anyone wants to trade a set of wagons for stock, let me know.
Hey Ryan, did you notice the spare tire?? Look to be the original "GoodYear". The rim is dated 72.
I'll post a pic later.

yeah, stock rims and hubcaps would be amazing on that truck!

i did notice the spare, but i didnt lift it up and check it out. the one in the bed that had that jack on it right? how do you like the bed floor in it?, its a little dented..

I have 4 8 lug steel wheels left over from my '96. They are 8 lug. I understand they would fit, but they would not be ''correct''.

The 96 wheels are 16" aren't they??

I didn't realize you had 16.5s. Oh well. If you want to go 16" I've got 4.

Thanks for the offer Steve.
Going to 16" may not be a bad idea as there are a lot more options for tires..
But for now, I'll use what I got..
Just can't see why someone would change out the stock wheels for white wagons :hmm:
