I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

I was thinking the same thing.ezernut9mm wrote:that is so wierd to see a y-block in one of these trucks.
A Y-block with an alternator.
This was taken the day I bought ours.
It sat here for almost 15 years without ever moving.

Why weird? You dont see much trucks running with y-blocks there?ezernut9mm wrote:that is so wierd to see a y-blaock in one of these trucks.
Here in Brazil, these trucks came from the factory with this engine (272 cid), mine is a 292... It ends to be a few v8 options here, like the 302, the y-blocks, flatheads, so I choose to go with the y-block. Is very common to see diesel MWM, Perkins, Mercedes engines running on these trucks...
Yes, it's a little update... 90amp.A Y-block with an alternator.

I'm thinking 1964 was the last Y-block in a truck here in the states, someone correct me if I'm wrong.ZOEGA wrote:Why weird?
This pic was taken about a month after we bought it.
