That's strange I can get my ignition switch out from under the left corner LOL. Was yours playin hard to get

mine looked like that for a couple of weeks, changing the dash pad and heater core. it's a good time to clean 30 somethin years of dirt and dusty crap out from the under dash area.

When I put my my dashpad back on, I'm planning on slipping a ZipLoc bag under it first, with notes on my restoration and some pictures. Figured it would be a neat thing for the next owner to find someday. :D

Hey Flyboy, I think there is an easier way to get the ignition switch out :hmm: Not sure though. Did you think about trying it from the engine compartment lol. I wish I had something else to drive for a while, Mine would look the same way. I need to get in there and do some work.

Next owner???? Who the heck is gonna sell their truck. Not me After doing this much work.

No, the engine and tranny pull/rebuild is on next spring to do list.
The air cleaner is off though. I no longer have the carburetor to attach it to! :lol:
