At another forum I participate in that uses this same forum software, when you have made a comment in a thread, a little black dot appears in the thread graphic. So when you are looking at all the treads in a forum, you can see which one's you've commented in and can follow-up. Sometimes I forget.

I am pretty sure we went down that road quite a while back and the forum software wouldn't do it...
