finally some progress on yellow70!! Update 9-9 new pics

nice junk pile so far,parts waiting to go on are auto swap,p/s with tilt,djm drop beams with new pins/bushings and power disc brakes,non flex o matic spring swap with djm hangers/shackles,c6 and built 390,basicly the same engine as mine but with a bit fatter cam.....in the works are new bumpers,new wood/strips for the bed and a cool set of wheels,here are some pics

should go pretty easy,ive already done it all once on the green70,well exept for the rear suspension,mine has a flip

actually the yellow one is my dads,he saw mine and decided he had to have one too,it works because im not the one spending all the money,but im doing most the work,kind of a father son project,just a little later in life....the cool thing is that all the left over parts are going on the red and white 68 i just bought...

not sure on wheels yet,gotta see how it sits when done,i think some 15" tt's with old school bfg's would be perfect but who knows....

you know 427blackpearl has a set of 15x8's tt's with grey centers brand new still in the box for sale, he's asking $500 i think. you should check him out. :thup:

i thought they were 17's either way if he stll has em when were ready they would be good

managed to spend most the day working on the yellow70,goal was to have the wheels back on by the end of the day.....well that didnt happen but we got close....amazing what a little elbow grease and some paint will do.....on to the pics...
