Wow, how time flies! It's been a month since anyone's seen a Bump in their town (or anyone has cared).

I have seen four Bumps in the last month or so, which is a new record. The first pictured (IMG_7141s.jpg) is a '70 Sport Custom that I spotted off of US-202 in Raritan, NJ. It looks like crap (typical northeastern truck) but the owner of the garage it was parked at says it runs great. He and I chatted for a while, he said the owner puts lots of money into keeping it going. That's news I like to hear!

The next two are actually in my town! Now that I moved to PA I found a few. The green one was in someone's back yard but I spotted it when I was riding the train one day.

I saw another one last night, but didn't get a picture because it was too dark. It's too much of a stretch anway, since I'm traveling for work in North Carolina. Still, it was nice to see a '70 flatbed out on the road.

ive spotted like 30 since 2 months ago or so. there all over the place up here. my dad and i counted 15 on just one trip to HF and back.

its just a matter of being able to whip out the camera in time, which i havent mastered. so i only have a few pictures of one truck.

Ive seen plenty of bumps lately. But like Ryan said...cant get the camera out in time (when driving), or I dont usually carry it with me, and no camera on my phone.

Curious did california make ford and the other companies move the tanks to the bed only back then?

or is that just a common upgrade?

Pulled up next to a real nice bump yesterday. Think it was a 69 Ranger, the grille looked familiar. It was the first "good lookin" bump I've seen in Montana.

People around here still actually "use" their trucks. You know, for "work" and stuff. Pff. Work is for people who don't know how to fish. Put some time into that ol' Ford, don't just run it into the ground!!!

I felt kind of stupid trying to talk to the guy. I was driving the wif's Toyota Yaris. 8)

Not in the bumpin' era, my '71 still has an in cab tank.

I see way too many to photograph them as they roll by (and most of the are still working hard), California is a nice place for people who like old cars ;)
