Very nice marz. I always thought about 3 inch chop would look killer. Nice job you did. I like it alot. What kind of tubs and floor you plan on using on the back? Any inner fenders? Nice truck.

Hows it looking Marz,(current pics?). you could section the body now, maybe 2 inches, would look so right with the top no one would notice either.Your work looks great keep it up.
We chopped a 70 blazer a few years ago and made filler plates around the frame to flush mount the glass and had it installed with the new adhesive thats used now, turned out very cool, you had to get up on to tell there was no rubber, its not too late for yours.later..

I will go through the storage container this weekend to see if I can find some, but we basically had our glass guy give us a pattern of the glass and welded strips around the perimeter where needed to keep a uniformed gap .I think it was about
5/32-3/16",and we added some material to the flange that runs around the truck opening, where the rubber wraps around. We did test fit the actual glass before final welding ,since you have your windshield you could tape the whole think up both sides to keep from damaging and fit it in bare opening, put spacers at bottom where it sits on frame and see where filler metal is needed, the depth will be different with addition of the urethane so maybe ask your glass guy how thick the urethane will need to be,we didnt need to alter the depth to fit flush,(dont know on yours),with what Ive seen of your skill level it wouldnt be to difficult for you,you will love the results, I think you still need to consider sectioning a couple of inches from the body, it would be one of a kind.Good luck with it Marz..
Also we had the edges polished, for a cleaner fit...

Killer build. I was searching for more pics of your truck and found this site. I love bare metal bodydropped trucks. I have wanted to build a body dropped fullsize 60s model truck for some time.
