The testing,
All lights work, accept the break lights.
4 way flashers work.
Turn signals work.
So I ground my spark chaser and touch the hot side of the break switch, lights on.
I press the peddle and touch the other side of the break switch, lights on.
Must be the wire to the rear of the truck.
Long story short I look\feel\wiggle my way back to the tail light buckets. Remove the buckets and clean the grounding contact points before reinstalling them.
So now its 95 deg plus and I am back in the cab scratching my brain.

When I start to remove the switch the wire to the tail light doesn't move like the wire on the other side. I close the switch and touch the contact AGAIN....lights on. Then I stab the wire 2 inches up the line. NO LIGHT!!!!! the wire had broken right at the stake-on but the insulation was still holding onto the crimp.
And that, boys and girls, is why there is a pointed end on the circuit tester. Thank you, and good night.
