1971 Dana 60 Rear hub lock nut size

Post by GSequoia »

Hey guys,

One more question. Anybody know the size socket I'll need for the hub lock nut on my '71 60?

Thanks, my brakes are hating being bathed in fluid from the wheel cylinder ;)

i know the size nut on my Dana 70 is 2 9/16".
I checked my chiltons on trucks and they don't say that they are different.
Someone else here may know for sure.

I think the Dana 60 and 70 are the same. I think the one I have said on its packaging Ford 3/4 and 1 ton. Aren't the 60 and 70 kinda similar?
