were in md.,love the pics of your truck. have a 72 shortbed 4x4 my self in need of of of everything :oops: :cry: . debating wether to send it down the road or look for a new cab a start redoing it. been working on my 72 shortbed 2 wheel drive for quite a while havent finished it about 80% done fresh paint new rubbers,glas fresh 390 etc.but then i backed off to do other things. again your truck looks like its gonna be super . :thup: :fr: :hd:

Thanks Meanie, its getting there. I have the rear all together now, and the new brake drums and brake hose here. Waiting on my e-brake cables and the back end will be done.

Once I get the rest of the frame done it should go quick, the body is solid other than cab corners. I have the blame for that, I welded the whole cab up in 1988, and knew the corners were marginal but they still looked good so I left them, now I get to put new cab corners on :) Shoulda done it when I did the rest of the cab, it would just be a clean up now.

Stang them tires and rims don't look good on there. You can take them off and ship them to me. They for sure will look good on my truck. oh Darn it they are 5 lug. j/k :D

Lookin good I really like the rims and tires on your truck. Cant wait for more pics and updates. :thup:

was down past waldorf about 3 or 4 weeks ago to look at a f350 4x4 liked it alot but couldnt sell my 98cheby 4x4 extended cab to by that :cry: oh well still trying :hd: your truck is lookin good. mine is real ruff.72 shortbed 4x4 360 4speed

Got the nose off and the tank/seat out today, next is to rebuild the front axle and detail everything, fun fun fun!

This week, front axle.

I pulled it out for painting and new polyutherthane bushings. Its wild when you actually own a truck long enough to have to put a SECOND set of polyurethane bushings in LOL However, the front C-bushings after about 20 yrs now have loosened up, so it's time for a fresh set.
