Bumper brackets

Post by 71 LONG BED »

I finally got a set of bumper brackets, thanks to ezernut! I almost forgot to get a pic of them "before". I remembered as I was throwing them into the blast cabinet, so I set them on the floor of the shop and snapped a celly pic. The second pic is after blasting. Unfortunatly this weekend was overbooked and I didn't get around to priming them, although I did get the pimer. :o

I finally got the brackets painted. I'd like to dig out the bumper tomorrow and see if I can actually get it on the truck.

I dug the bumper out of the shed, and dispite the mouse condos, it faired pretty well.
I just bought some galvinized carage bolts at "the Depot" and I had some grade 8 bolts to fasten the brackets to the frame.
After long last, I HAVE MY BUMPER!
Thanks again to ezernut9mm for the brackets.

Looks great. You needed a bumper. Hope I get to see it in real life some time.
